Dr. Greg Hogan recently became the owner of Uniontown Chiropractic Center, taking the reins from former owner and longtime professional mentor, Dr. Garret Breakiron. Dr. Hogan is trained in Pettibon Spinal Bio-mechanics and Graston techniques. He is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). When Dr. Hogan is not at the Uniontown Chiropractic Center, you can find him giving back to the Uniontown community and his alma mater by volunteering his time as a youth wrestling coach and as the Laurel Highlands Athletics Team Chiropractor.
About Dr. Gregory Hogan DC
Dr. Hogan is a Laurel Highlands High School graduate and received his undergraduate degree at Thiel College with a Bachelors of Science degree. While at Thiel he was a member of the wrestling team and was a captain during his junior and senior years. He continued his studies at New York Chiropractic College and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2013 while graduating on Dean's List. He is trained in Pettibon Spinal Bio-mechanics and Graston techniques. He is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).
About Dr. Garret Breakiron
Dr. Breakiron founded Uniontown Chiropratic in 1984, acting as the sole owner for 36 years until 2017, when he passed the torch to Dr. Hogan. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University and received his Master degree from Marshall University. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in March 1984 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He was a member of the continuing Education Faculty at Palmer College, Life University and Parker University of Chiropractic. Dr. Breakiron lectured on Pettibon Bio-Mechanics and Sports related injuries nationally and internationally for 18 years. Outside of his professional world he is actively involved in the community, as he is heavily
involved in Laurel Highlands wrestling program. Dr. Breakiron is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Certified Decompression Therapy Practitioner and Certified State Utilization Peer Reviewer. He was a team chiropractor for 11 years with the Laurel Highlands and Albert Gallatin School Districts. Dr. Breakiron was inducted into the Laurel Highlands Life Achievement Hall of Fame in 2014 and was named “Best Chiropractor of the year” on 11 occasions by the Herald Standard Community Choice Awards.
About Dr. Kurt Sturdevant
Dr. Sturdevant is a 1994 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is certified in the Pettibon Spinal Bio-Mechanics technique and has lectured on this technique.
Dr. Sturdevant is also knowledgeable in sports related injuries as well as nutritional counseling. He completed his Internship in St. Cloud, Minnesota and then joined the staff at the Uniontown Chiropractic Center in 1994.
